Description Position Overview: This position is responsible for maintaining organization wide area network in assigned region ensuring security and integrity. Collaborates with other Regional IT Coordinators and IT Manager to create and implement best practices across the organization. Independently researches and resolves software and hardware problems for their assigned region. Serves as a technical training resource for the centers within their region.
Role and Responsibilities
• Implements technology standards, policies and procedures to ensure security, backup and recovery of the agencies information technology resources
• Consults with IT Manager to analyze Technology needs and to determine scope and priorities of projects
• Responds within IT service delivery standards to telephone, voicemail, e-mail, and in-person requests from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies
• Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for user problems, referring more complex problems to the IT Managers or technical consultants if needed
• Logs and tracks calls using problem management database, and maintains history records and related problem documentation
• Deploy computers, software, educational technology and peripheral equipment
• Compiles data for evaluation of tools, systems, and programs to better the IT platform for the agency
• Conducts training needs assessment for technology and collaborates with IT department to develop and deliver training
• Conducts on-site or webinar training on all educational technology, software, hardware, ensuring PACE IT resources are maximized
• Serves as liaison between staff and IT Managers
• Builds relationships at the center level in order to understand program needs and communicate those needs to IT leadership
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Required
• Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum two years related experience required; preferably in a non-profit or educational environment.
• Minimum two years’ experience supporting educational technology through implementation and support new applications
• Ability to learn and support new applications.
• Current Florida driver’s license.
Other Requirements
• Must adhere to Organization Values and Principles.
• Upholds the ethical standards of the Organization and 6B-1.001 Code of Ethics of the Education Profession in Florida.
• Follows policies and procedures of the Organization
• Must work evenings and weekends as required to fulfill workload requirements.
• Must be able to travel by automobile, plane, train, etc.; occasional overnight travel may be required
• Must have a safe and dedicated workspace at home
Preferred
• Experience in supporting multiple-locations
• Minimum two years-experience supporting educational technology through implementation and training
• Technical training experience
• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal skillset
• Must display good self-management
• Must be able to work in a team

Work Environment
