Title Inventory Control Analyst

Description Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Analyst works with inventory both proactively (full inventories) and reactively (stock outs on orders) to make sure the systemic inventory matches the physical reality. The individual will research and make systemic adjustments as needed. Will communicate with various individuals within the organization and with the organization’s clients.

• Facilitation of Cycle Counts (CC) and follow up with agents for assigned account
• Scheduling and facilitation of full Physical Inventories (PI) for assigned accounts
• Monitoring of CC and PI results for assigned accounts
• Ensure accurate data entry of all CC and PI information
• Full reconciliation of any and all discrepancies arising from CC, PI or live order issues
• Facilitate changes to part attributes, as requested
• Manage inventory reductions or expansions
• Work with client in regards to new part set up or attribute change
• Ensure proper billing of all managed CC and PI facilitation - scheduled and ad hoc
• Reporting of CC and PI results internally and externally, as needed
• Communicate recommendations to SPL Manager in regards to suggested CC programs and PI requirements/requests
• Maintain shared database for all managed PI results

Requirements • At least 1 year of Inventory Control experience
• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is needed
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication
