Under immediate supervision of the Deputy General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer, the Corporate Compliance Specialist maintains, tracks, and archives the Corporate Records for PPNCS and its ancillary corporations.  The Corporate Compliance Specialist engages with internal stakeholders and external partners to complete contractual agreements and ensure that such agreements comply with all applicable policies, procedures and compliance obligations. The Corporate Compliance Specialist is an advocate in implementing our mission of “Affirming the human right to reproductive health and freedom.”


Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages all incoming contract-related inquiries and performs all administrative functions related to contract execution
  • Tracks and maintains applicable insurance policies, manuals, contractual agreements, and corporate records for PPNCS and relevant ancillary corporations
  • Tracks and maintains policies and standard operating procedures for PPNCS and ancillary corporations to ensure consistency with current practices and regulations
  • Tracks and maintains all required external filings for PPNCS and its ancillary corporations
  • Maintains record retention schedule for PPNCS and its ancillary corporations
  • Provides administrative support to the Legal/Compliance team and its workgroups
  • Provides excellent customer service to staff requiring assistance from the Compliance Department
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Manages department law clerks and volunteers


  • Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for: safety and security, confidentiality, quality assurance, compliance with current laws and regulations including HIPAA and mandated reporting, and training
  • Supports and participates in:
    • Common teamwork; Cooperates and works together with all co-workers,
    • Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations demonstrating compassion, empathy and dignity for all
    • Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, co-workers and patients regarding reported complaints, problems and concerns
    • Promotes positive public image and relations of PPNCS
    • Completes requirements for acceptable attendance and timeliness to work, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene
    • Performs other work duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree and minimum one-year experience working in a compliance team
  • Experience in organizational business

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Ability to read and interpret complex documents, such as compliance regulations.
  • Skilled at communicating clearly, verbally and in writing, including the ability to provide technical assistance on complex compliance issues in a simple, straightforward manner.
