Job Description

The internship position at PennyMac is a paid internship program. Interns may serve in one or more areas of the company and will be assigned a variety of tasks. In some instances they may take direction from one or more Supervisors/Managers in their specific area.

The internship program is for a specific period of time and does not have a guarantee or promise of employment at the end of the program.
Internships may be initiated at any point in time during the year.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent work experience
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a graduation timeframe of December 2016 or June 2020 in one of the following majors: Computer Science, Engineering or Information Management.
  • Minimum 3.0 grade point average
  • Paid internship program
  • Internship does not provide relocation or student housing expenses.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and SQL is a plus)
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Skills in solving problems, making decisions, and resolving conflicts
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications
  • High standard of professionalism
