Job Description

Reviews the approved mortgage loan file to ensure that it is able to close and fund in accordance with company and investor policies and requirements.

  • Audits the approved mortgage loan file prior to drawing documents to verify and ensure accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents.
  • Ensures mortgage loans close in accordance with company and investor policies and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail; being very organized and analytical; having an aptitude for figures and possessing accurate data entry ability.
  • Previous mortgage banking experience is preferred, with solid familiarity with the lending process from application through funding.
  • Familiarity with Encompass loan processing software is a plus.
  • Expected to develop a working knowledge of federal and state mandated consumer disclosures requirements.
  • Expected to develop a working knowledge of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and FHA/VA Underwriting guidelines as well as requirements of PMI companies and company investors.
  • Positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment; have the ability to change priorities quickly as time-sensitive needs arise; and are able to adapt to a fluctuating workflow, particularly during periods of high loan volume.
  • Successful candidate will remain calm and courteous when dealing with impending deadlines.
