Title Associate Warehouse Leader

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Coaches, guides, and directs the actions of warehouse personnel as needed to meet Multisorb’s ISO, cGMP and Quality System requirements. This includes developing, changing, writing, and training on QSP’s and QWI’s as required or needed.
  2. Ensures that safe practices are consistently followed by all personnel.
  3. Organizes and provides direction to material handling personnel such that the warehouse, docks, aisles and other work areas are properly maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly manner at all Multisorb facilities.
  4. Provides visible and high impact leadership by organizing and coordinating the work activities of all department personnel to obtain maximum operational effectiveness and proficiency. 
  5. Assists in the interviewing, selection, hiring and training of the warehouse department personnel.
  6. Monitors attendance, appraises and disciplines employees as necessary according to company policies and procedures.
  7. Keeps all personnel informed of their performance, assists in their development, and handles general employee inquiries and solves problems.
  8. Works with department personnel to ensure that customer orders are shipped in the most cost effective and timely manner to meet customer delivery expectations. 
  9. Reviews shipping/receiving practices and implements changes as necessary to ensure that customer and manufacturing needs are satisfied.         
  10. Reviews shipping errors, identifies problems and takes corrective action in a timely manner.
  11. Coordinates with materials, production, and customer service to ensure customer delivery dates and requirements are achieved.
  12. Facilitates the development, implementation, and monitoring of the inventory control system and practices to ensure an accurate inventory and implement preventive/corrective actions as needed.
  13. Actively seek continuous improvement opportunities.
  14. Works with Manufacturing Engineering and R & D departments to identify and implement packaging and shipping improvements.
  15. Administers or facilitates appropriate programs to ensure all qualified personnel receive proper training and certification.
  16. Handles all shipping and receiving functions after normal business hours
  17. Operates Company vehicles as needed.
  18. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements To qualify you must have an Associates Degree in Technical Science or Business. 3-5 years of experience in supervision required along with the following: Good oral and written communication; coaching and people management skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Mathematical aptitude; Ability to solve problems; Experience with an ERP system
