Objectives

• Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Management Administrative Assistant assists the Global Supply Chain team to ensure that operations produce in the most cost-effective manner within quality standards.
• Provide the Highest Quality, Greatest Value, and Best Customer Service in the industry by constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency and by eliminating WASTES using LEAN techniques.

Responsibilities
• Responsible and accountable for processing and entering pick tickets and relief inventories.
• Analyzes sales orders and back orders for distribution to the Value Streams and Management.
• Commitment to deploying the LEAN principles to reduce waste throughout the operations. Participates in LEAN initiatives throughout the Global Supply Chain departments and Value Streams including but not limited to: Uninterrupted supply of materials to meet production schedules and deadlines, troubleshooting and resolving customer issues relating to the supply chain, checking, inspecting and managing material returns from customers and documenting and participating in shipping processes.
• Manages warehouse, inventory and supplier Kanban audits.
• Participates in projects and communicates with all Global Supply Chain departments. Assists the Global Supply Chain Manager with overseeing projects and completion of A3 reports.
• Insures that the Global Supply Chain strategies, goals are met and maintained according to set standards. Specific monitoring of goals will be assigned by the Global Supply Chain Manager.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment, following all safety procedures and performing work in a manner ensuring personal safety as well as the safety of others.

• Other responsibilities as required.


Qualifications
Education: Preferred, Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or higher. LEAN training.

Experience: 3 or more years of manufacturing supply chain experience
Talents: Strong written and verbal communication. High attention to detail. Business acumen to include strong numeric and analytical skills. Self-starter and goal driven. Excellent organization and time management skills. Advanced MS Office expertise.
