Description

This position facilitates the material handling function from storage of received raw materials through shipment of finished products to customers. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Receives inventory and non-inventory items in accordance with purchase order receiving report system.
  • Stores raw material items so as to maximize warehouse efficiencies.
  • Properly identifies raw materials for storage.
  • Operates forklift, company truck and all other equipment in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Assists in disposal of trash.
  • Assists in preparation of finished products for shipment.
  • Prevents defects and possible defects in workmanship.
  • Assists in relabel, repackage, and reprocess procedures.
  • Assures warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Delivers production materials to and from various locations to insure maximum operator uptime.
  • Delivers non-inventory items to appropriate areas.
  • Prepare records required to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Operates material transfer machinery and bulk unloaders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements To qualify you must be able to work 4pm-12am, Monday through Friday. High School Diploma or equivalent is required along with 3-12 months of material handling experience. The successful candidate will have mathematical aptitude, good verbal communication, and be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds with material handling equipment.
