POST DOCTORAL FELLOW, ANTISENSE DRUG DISCOVERY

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our antisense drug discovery group as a Postdoctoral Fellow. The selected candidate will work with a multi-disciplinary team of energetic researchers. The emphasis will be on using mouse genetics to understand antisense oligonucleotide biology and improve drug discovery. The successful candidate will be an innovative thinker with the ability to work independently to conceptualize, design and meticulously carry out in vitro and in vivo assays.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Genetics or Biochemistry, less than 3 years post doctoral experience.
  • Prior in vivo experience with rodent models required
  • Strong background in genetic and/or bioinformatics preferred
  • Track record of innovative research and scientific publications
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • An ability to be productive and successful in an intense work environment
