Description CLIMATE SCIENTIST - Research and study effects of climate change on the evolution of sea ice and the cryosphere using fluid dynamics. Evaluate the impact of future sea ice melt on the system. Gather and review climate-related studies from government agencies, research laboratories, and other organizations. Develop new physical theoretical models and implement them numerically. Test and validate theoretical models against observational data using a Global Climate Model. Investigate and conduct climate change surveys to collect data for research. Analyze and interpret scientific data using computer software. Code analytical models. Communicate findings through climate-related research papers, reports and international conferences.

Position requires Master’s degree in Geo Science, any Engineering or related fields plus 2 years experience in researching weather patterns and climate change using fluid dynamics. Demonstrated experience in Linux, Unix, Fortran, Shell Script required.
