Description Monitor and oversee EPC Contractors and Vendors in the execution of discipline-specific systems, project design, and execution of project completions deliverables; provide guidance, training, and overview as required to Contractors' systems completions organization; work with the PT and EPC Contractors to ensure safe execution of all completions/commissioning mechanical work, and to assure all project goals are met; work with the PT and EPC Contractors, as well as internal teams to ensure compliance with the contract requirements for design and commissioning of equipment and systems, proper documentation of said requirement, and achievement of a quality product; represent the Systems Completions organization and consult with the Commissioning Manager, as required, on systems completion decisions; ensure utilization of Systems Completion Database (SCDB) and Completion Management System database for tracking, certification, and quality purposes; monitor and verify proper database population of engineering parameters, check sheets, and verification criteria for mechanical equipment; attend the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT's) for major equipment; ensure delivery of specified equipment by facilitating shop inspections and factory acceptance testing; ensure Operations representatives receive proper familiarization and training on all equipment according to the requirements of the Operability Management Plan; participate in planning, organizing, and managing multiple phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery; develop project scopes in collaboration with operations, process and discipline engineering representatives for planning and execution of deliverables; coordinate project deliverables execution with clients, internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors; leverage formal project management and development methodologies; facilitate project meetings to develop and review project scope, design criteria, discipline drawings, and commissioning procedures; manage multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities in various execution phases on a wide variety of systems; follow and update budgets, and schedule forecast with assistance from project controls and project management; assist with development of equipment and material bid specification, bid evaluation and selection, and provide design and commissioning input for specific mechanical equipment safety and operability review; oversee engineering execution by utilizing on-site design staff, local engineering companies, or EPCM contractors; and provide on-site leadership to ensure safe execution of systems mechanical completion and commissioning activities.
Requirements Master's, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering Management or Mechanical Engineering plus three years of experience in each of the following skills: hands-on work experience in systems completion and commissioning in LNG/Oil and Gas processing; experience and knowledge of simultaneous operations, and ability to interface with vendors, contractors, and operations; and experience in plan/procedure development, systemization, and project-wide systems completion electronic database management systems.

Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s, or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Management followed by five years of post-baccalaureate progressively responsible experience in each of the following skills: hands-on work experience in systems completion and commissioning in LNG/Oil and Gas processing; experience and knowledge of simultaneous operations, and ability to interface with vendors, contractors, and operations; and experience in plan/procedure development, systemization, and project-wide systems completion electronic database management systems.
TRAVEL: Must be able to travel to project locations within the U.S. 25% of the time, annually.
