Description The Regional Manager is responsible for the directing the management and operations of multiple retail stores in north Louisiana, within an assigned district. They must possess the ability to lead, motivate and manage a diverse multi-store/unit team, with the ability to manage tight deadlines. The Regional Manager directly manages each store’s Manager and is responsible for their professional development and performance management of the results they are accountable to achieving. The Regional Manager is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating sales and related operations within an assigned region. The Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring retail stores are running efficiently and meeting their financial expectations.
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to; recommending policies and procedures, managing daily operations, planning the use of materials and human resources to insure the stores' are focusing on profitable operations that enhance the financial independence of the division and organization overall. The Regional Manager will also determine management staffing requirements, implement sales goals, objectives and procedures to drive performance. They are responsible for overseeing the preparation and maintenance of records and reports and developing annual budgets for their assigned cost centers. This person will also maintain a current understanding of all company policies and procedures pertaining to employee performance reviews, safety policies and safe work practices, accounting and financial records keeping and all human resources practices.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited college/university in related field preferred, or equivalent experience as noted below:
o With a Bachelor's or Associate’s degree: Minimum of four years recent retail experience as a store manager with high-volume/traffic retail store; prefer 1-3+ years of multi-unit experience. Softlines and/or Hardlines retail experience preferred.
o Without a Bachelor's or Associate’s degree: Minimum of six (6) years of recent experience as a store manager with high-volume/traffic retail store or (3) years of Goodwill store management experience; prefer 1-3+ years of multi-unit experience. Softlines and/or Hardlines retail experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Possess a privately owned vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Screenings:
A background screening and reference checks will be completed as a condition of employment.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Proven history of utilizing POS, scheduling software, spreadsheets, onboarding software, HRIS, payroll
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written – Fast and efficient with modern communication vehicles (email/text)
• Basic weekly expectations – Daily vehicle travel, occasional overnights, multi-tasking administrative work (meeting scheduling, conference calls, etc.), occasional weekends, 24-hour accessibility (available for any issues that may arise after-hours)
• History of, or comfort with, working in an environment where team members utilize heavy equipment and Organizational agility – Ability to understand and navigate various field and office support mechanisms
• Ability to adapt and lead within an ever-changing environment and ability to help progress employees through such changes
• Performance management – Ability to analyze data, observe behaviors, solicit feedback, and in turn, identify practices and behaviors necessary for improvement in business results
• Budgeting and cost analysis procedure expertise
• Proven ability to drive sales
• Strong independent work skills, personal organization, and drive
• Strong conflict management skills
• Ability to interact with a diverse population
• Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service and to lead a staff that does the same
