Title Clean Up Team Leader - Waterside - Seasonal

Description Summary: The Waterpark Clean Up Team Leader is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Waterpark Clean Up Department including staff management, training, and scheduling.

Essential Functions:
• Assist Managers in training seasonal Team Members.
• Assist with daily clean-up of the waterpark and staff oversight.
o Perform opening duties as outlined in the department manual.
o Report and record any tardiness, company/department violations, and /or child labor law violations to Manager.
o Conduct daily staff meetings/placement.
o Monitor team member tasks, such as pool brushing, trash removal, parking lot and locker cleaning, hosing, cabana clean up, and preparing umbrellas for park opening.
o Monitor and regulate staff breaks.
o Assist team members as needed.
• Assist Managers in organization of all employee reports.
• Document incidents and complete employee disciplinary actions when warranted according to company and department policies and procedures.
• Coach and provide constructive feedback to employees when needed.
• Document and file all paperwork in designated locations.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Provide friendly, polite, and courteous service to all park guests.
• Maintain an organized department and work environment.
• Work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, cold.
Other Responsibilities:
• Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.
• Report to and from work at assigned time.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Must be honest and reliable.
• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.
• Adhere to dress code policy.
Requirements Educations & Qualifications: Must be 18 years old. High school diploma or GED, 1-3 years of experience within the department and previous management and/or leadership experience is preferred. Must be organized, have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and have the ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures. Must be committed to providing excellent customer service. Must have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Must work weekends and holidays.
