Description Job Title: Operations Team Member

FLSA Status: Seasonal ; Hourly, Exempt

Education and Qualifications:

Must be a minimum of 14 years of age to comply with child labor laws. Must be able to work in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals practicing safety precautions as required. Must maintain a well groomed appearance at all times. Must be able to follow proper procedure to clean up bodily fluids.

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to follow policies and procedures. Must provide positive interactions with guests and coworkers. Must be able to work at least 2 weekends per month May through the end of September.

Hours: A typical work week consists of 5-10 hours per day 5-6 days per week.

Job Summary:

Provide a safe, clean, and friendly atmosphere so that park guests can enjoy their visit. Promote and perform teamwork on a daily basis.

Reports to: Operations Department Manager and Team Leaders

Responsible for: N/A

Physical Requirements: Contact Human Resources

Essential Functions:

1. Maintain cleanliness of park midways which includes sweeping, changing trash bins, maintaining/organizing dumpster areas to the expectations set forth by the company.

2. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, which include tables, chairs and the gathering of dining trays to the expectations set forth by the company.

3. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, which includes sweeping, sanitizing surfaces, changing trash bins, and stocking supplies to the expectations set forth by the company.

4. Follow proper department procedures to clean up food and/or beverage spills and bodily fluids.

5. Complete Operations Team Member Checklists.

6. Deliver or stock products/supplies for food stands, bathrooms, ticket booths, or any other park/waterpark area as needed.

7. Follow safe and proper procedures when moving product as set forth by company policy.

8. Bag ice to replenish ice storage chests.

Child Labor Law Restrictions

• 15 year olds: May not drive golf carts or be passengers on golf carts. May retrieve products from warehouses, walk in coolers, and freezers, but may not put deliveries away in those locations or use step ladders to retrieve products.

• 16-17 year olds: May not drive golf carts or be passengers on golf carts crossing the road, may not operate electric pallet jacks or hydraulic lifts.

• 18+ year olds: May only drive golf carts when Golf cart training
Other Responsibilities:

1. Must report to and from work at assigned time.

2. Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adhere to dress code policy.

3. Must provide superior customer service and assist guests when needed.

4. Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.

5. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.

6. Must be honest, reliable and able to work in a team atmosphere.

7. Must communicate efficiently using a two way radio.

8. Complete other duties as assigned.
