Description Job Title: Marketing Intern

FLSA Status: Seasonal, Hourly, Exempt

Pay Rate: $7.50

Hours: Typically M-F 9am to 5pm; however, must be available weekends and summer holidays for special events.


Education and Qualifications:

Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a major in Marketing or a related field. Junior or Senior status preferred with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Must have a valid PA Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle used for work. Must have current car insurance. Must be organized, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to follow policies and procedures. Must be committed to providing excellent customer service. Must have a high level of skill in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel). Knowledge of Publisher preferred. Must be able to operate fax machines, copiers, and scanners.



Job Summary:

Provides support to Marketing Department. Coordinate Park Events with Marketing staff. Assist with promotions and off-site promotions for the Park.



Reports to: Director of Marketing and Marketing Coordinator

Essential Functions:

1. Assist with Park Brochure Distribution and Develop Park Promotional Materials.

2. Coordinate and follow through with special events.
• Set up for events.
• Work events.
• Assist entertainers and sponsors.

3. Attend on and off site promotions.
• Attend Tradeshows and Member Meetings.

4. Assemble packets, mailings, and event memos.

5. Print, copy, scan, and fax documents when needed.

6. Ask customers to complete surveys and compile survey data to improve customer service and park operations.

7. Assist with developing content for DelGrosso’s Amusement Park and Marianna Foods Facebook pages.

8. Assist Director of Marketing and Marketing Coordinator with any special projects or duties as assigned.


Other Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.

2. Report to and from work at assigned time.

3. Complete other duties as assigned.

4. Must be honest and reliable.

5. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.

6. Adhere to dress code policy.
