Pay Rate: $10.50/hour

FLSA Status: Seasonal; Hourly, Exempt


Education and Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of culinary production experience in a high volume kitchen environment required. Must be proficient in all stations of the kitchen. Ability to stand for all/most of shift. Must enjoy and be productive working in a high-volume, fast-paced, guest-service oriented environment and maintain a positive attitude.


Position Summary:

Maintains a high standard of service at all times. Ensures all Health and Safety regulations are implemented, adhered to, and reviewed regularly. Ensure all products used are of a high quality. Produce all food according to recipes, correct portion size, and temperature. Ensure all areas are clean and sanitized. Assist the culinary team in food preparation.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Set up station with materials and supplies, and maintain availability of the same.

2. Perform cooking duties and related production functions according to recipes. Ensure high food quality level that meets DelGrosso’s Amusement Park standard, and perform daily spot checks of all portioning tools.

3. Provide daily documenting and recording of food production.

4. Cook, chill and portion pasta.

5. Cut, blanch and season vegetables.

6. Prepare, cook and properly cool raw proteins.

7. Prepare and cook specialty sauces following a recipe.

8. Batch cooking various menu items (i.e. Sloppy Joe Sauce, Hot dog sauce etc.).

9. Slicing, chopping, dicing and weighing/ measuring raw product.

10. Temping and Recording product from raw to cooked.

11. Maintains a neat, clean, and orderly work area.

12. Follows proper cleaning procedures set forth from the department.

13. Transports products from one side of the park to the other, will require lifting of heavy object and the use of a motor vehicle.

14. Put away product after a delivery.

15. Assist with Proper food rotation.

16. Follow established safety standards using safe food handling guidelines and maintain a clean work area. Ensure compliance of the State of Pennsylvania’s food safety program.

17. Cleans equipment and performs other sanitation duties as assigned.

18. Assist in with various kitchen duties as required.

19. Perform other duties as assigned.

1. Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.

2. Report to and from work at assigned time.

3. Complete other duties as assigned.

4. Must be honest and reliable.

5. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.

6. Adhere to dress code policy.

7. Maintain an organized department and work environment.
