Title Clean Up Team Leader - Waterside

Description Summary: The Water Side Clean-Up Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Water Side Clean-Up Department including staff management, training, and scheduling. He/she will be responsible for assisting the Water Side Clean Up Manager in scheduling employees, monitoring break times/child labor laws, and providing constructive employee feedback. The incumbent must be mature, responsible, and honest.

Education and Qualifications: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED preferred, must be 18 years old by start date. 1-3 years of experience within the department is preferred. Outside management and/or leadership experience is preferred, but not required. Must be organized, have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and have the ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures. Must be committed to providing excellent customer service. Must have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Must be committed to providing excellent customer service. Must maintain a neat appearance, be well groomed, dressed in proper uniform, and handle self in a professional manner.

Essential Functions:
1. Assists Managers in training seasonal Team Members.
2. Assists with daily clean-up of the waterpark and staff oversight.
a. Performs opening duties as outlined in the department manual.
b. Reports and records any tardiness, company/department violations, and /or child labor law violations to Manager.
c. Conducts daily staff meetings/placement.
d. Monitors team member tasks, such as pool brushing, trash removal, parking lot and locker cleaning, hosing, cabana clean up, and preparing umbrellas for park opening.
e. Regulates staff breaks.
f. Assists team members as needed.
3. Assists Managers in organization of all employee reports.
a. Documents incidents, coaches employee on a behavior improvement plan.
b. Notifies Water Park Facilities Manager prior to receiving employee signature.
4. Documents and files all paperwork in designated locations.
5. Communicates effectively with staff and customers.
6. Provides friendly, polite, and courteous service to all park guests.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Other Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality
2. Report to and from work at assigned time.
3. Complete other duties assigned.
4. Must be honest and reliable.
5. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.
6. Adhere to dress code policy.
7. Maintain and organized department and work environment.
