Education and Qualifications:

Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with child labor laws. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Must have a positive attitude and be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must be organized, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures. Must be able to communicate positively with guests.

Hours: A typical work week consists of 4-8 hours a day 5-6 days a week.

Job Summary:

Parking Attendants are front line positions that start our guest’s day in the best possible way! They are responsible for the following: Maintaining safety standards to ensure guest and employee safety. Informing guests of general information about DelGrosso’s Park providing assistance when requested. Providing necessary traffic control for vehicles and pedestrians entering and exiting parking lots. Performing other duties as assigned. Performing the assigned parking position and working as a team with other parking attendants to provide a positive and organized experience for visiting guests.

Reports to: Security Manager and Team Leader

Responsible for: N/A

Physical Requirements: Contact Human Resources

Essential Functions:

1. Assist guests with questions by providing Superior Customer Service and know the rules, regulations, and layout of the park.

2. Maintain an organized flow of traffic.

3. Properly and safely park all vehicles entering the parking lots by communicating with team members to keep traffic moving into the parking lot.

4. Setup visual aid equipment (ie: cones and signs) to help in the flow of traffic.

5. Maintain a professional approachable friendly demeanor and uniform appearance.

6. Assist pedestrians in crossing traffic by controlling traffic speeds near walkway crossings.

7. Contact Security Manager or Team Leader when needed to address issues in the parking lot. If neither are available contact the Director of Operations or Vice President of Operations.

8. Hand out promotional vouchers and/or materials for events to guests explaining the details when assigned.

Other Responsibilities:

1. Must report to and from work at assigned time.

2. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

3. Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adhere to dress code policy.

4. Must provide superior customer service and assist guests when needed.

5. Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.

6. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.

7. Must be honest, reliable and able to work in a team atmosphere.

8. Must communicate efficiently using a two way radio and telephone.

9. Complete other duties as assigned.
