Description Job Title: Ride Admission Verifier- Seasonal

FLSA Status: Seasonal; Hourly, Exempt

Education and Qualifications:

Must be a minimum of 14 years of age to comply with child labor laws. Must be able to work in various weather conditions. Must maintain a well-groomed appearance at all times. Must be able to consistently admit guests on rides that meet ride restrictions with proper admission. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to follow policies and procedures. Must be able to work at least 2 weekends per month May through the end of September.

Hours: A typical work week consists of 5-8 hours 5-6 days per week.

Job Summary:

Admitting and assisting guests that meet rider requirements with proper admission to amusement rides.

Reports to: Rides Managers and Team Leaders

Responsible for: N/A

Physical Requirements: Contact Human Resources

Essential Functions:

1. Enforce and monitor all rider requirements including proper admission, height, and safety requirements.

2. Assist guests to and from the ride, assist in the loading and unloading process.

3. Physically check safety restraints to ensure they are in the correct and locked position.

4. Utilize verbal and visual communication with co-workers and guests.

5. Maintain the safety of guests by following all training procedures and visually monitor guests before, during, and post ride cycles.

6. Inform guests of any special rider requirements & or instructions associated with assigned ride.

7. Report any unusual situations to a Ride Team Leader or Manager.

8. Maintain ride carriages after inclement weather by drying off seats according to training.

9. Give breaks to other employees according to a break schedule assigned by a team leader or manager.

10. Comprehend instructions and retain information.

11. Follow all department and company rules and regulations.

12. Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Other Responsibilities:

1. Must report to and from work at assigned time.

2. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

3. Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adhere to dress code policy.

4. Must provide superior customer service and assist guests when needed.

5. Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.

6. Provide help and support to co-workers on an ongoing basis.

7. Must be honest, reliable and able to work in a team atmosphere.

8. Complete other duties as assigned.
