Description The SharePoint professional will assume a lead role as a Project Manager, Administrator and Business Analyst on various projects. This lead professional will also work independently and on project teams focused on delivering SharePoint business solutions to our various business functions and users. This includes a new SharePoint 2016 implementation to start with, migrating off a 2010 environment. Then structuring the governance process of the platform moving forward.

Specifically, this SharePoint professional will be knowledgeable about and responsible for providing infrastructure, architecture and configuration/administration services related to SharePoint with our users. Additionally, this team member will be able to function as a business analyst in translating business requirements to SharePoint business solutions and implementing SharePoint functionality to address requirements.

The primary business functions this role will work with is HR and Communications as the SharePoint platform functional owners. The relationship into both HR and Communications will be one of a business engagement lead for IT in that they will work on any IT projects those two functions require. This includes coming up to speed on our HRIS system UltiPro to be part of the ongoing improvement project teams.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years Microsoft SharePoint versions 2010, 2013 and 2016
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with or integrating with an HRIS system (UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Workday, etc)
• Medium level of experience with SQL Server and cloud implementations
• Strong analysis skills (ability to understand business needs and to help translate those into technical solutions)
• Strong project management knowledge and experience
• Ability to assess user requirements and determine appropriate architecture for SharePoint configuration
• Ability to manage a third party vendor for development, implementation and ongoing technical support
• Ability to communicate with server/infrastructure administrators as well as developers and non-technical business constituents about the above technologies
• Ability to work independently (self-starter) as well as play various implementation roles within project teams
• Exceptional communication, documentation and organizational skills
• Education: 4 year Degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar.
