Title Organizational and Talent Development Manager

Description The Organizational Development Center of Expertise (COE) provides company-wide internal consulting and program design with the mission of enhancing our organization’s performance, productivity, and profitability through its people and systems. Our focus areas include performance and talent management, culture and strategic change, employee engagement, playbooks development, and industrial engineering.

The Organizational and Talent Development Manager will be responsible for building, implementing, managing, and refining talent and culture programs under the strategic direction of the Director of Organizational Development.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Design and lead processes, programs, and initiatives related to talent management and engagement, including but not limited to:
o Talent assessment and stratification (e.g., talent capability gaps, HiPo identification and tracking, calibration/consensus)
o Succession planning
o Professional and career development (e.g., career paths, rotational programs, mobility, mentorship and coaching programs)
o Performance management (goal setting, feedback check-ins, reviews)
o Talent profile and behavior/competency management (in coordination with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development COEs)
o Capability tracking (e.g., education, certifications, specialized skills)
o Talent analytics (metrics, dashboard, predictive)
o Employee surveys (climate, engagement, internal customer; feedback loops and action plans)
• Project manage portfolio of talent initiatives
• Effectively manage, coach, and develop a small, nimble team
• Coach organization people leaders to have effective talent management and feedback conversations
• Serve as an internal consultant on topics related to culture and talent, including but not limited to:
o Partnering with Learning and Development COE to ensure leadership training programs address talent needs and participate in delivery of leadership programs as needed
o Collaborating with Total Rewards COE on recognition program design
• Other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion

• This position requires 5-10% of nationwide travel.

• Bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior, industrial psychology, economics, business management, human resources, or related fields required; 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA strongly preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of increasing responsibility in developing and managing talent programs, including 1 year experience in leading and developing teams.
• Experience in a best practice organization strongly preferred.
• Expertise in one or more HRIS and/or Talent Management systems; Workday experience preferred.
• Expert Microsoft Office skills, including:
o PowerPoint – graphics, animation, master slide formatting, notes development, and basic storyboarding.
o Excel – formatting, formulas, sorting, data validation, and pivot table creation.
o Word – reference and table creation, master formatting, and document structuring.
