The Construction Manager has the overall responsibility to plan, organize and control the field construction activities, and provide optimum supervision and control of the site activities specific to the needs of the project. They will possess extensive hands on experience and will have successfully demonstrated their ability to work harmoniously and effectively. They will plan project work logically to ensure a good working environment, with minimal conflict between subcontractors. In a commitment to quality management, they will be encouraged to be innovative to achieve maximum benefit from productivity improvement ideas.
The Construction Manager is responsible for the development of the Construction Execution Plans and construction field activities for the projects that are being managed. They will have a shared accountability for the planning and execution of construction events and develop, lead, and sustain the construction organization.
• Coordination of Construction team.
• Constructability reviews.
• Management of field subcontractors.
• Field material control.
• Field QA/QC.
• Schedule
• System work packages
• Ensuring site strategies are aimed at minimizing complexity where possible.
• Ensuring construction specific strategies are in place and effective.
• Ensuring proactive Cost Control

HSE Responsibilities
• Compliance with Statutory HSE Regulations, Codes and Standards
• Applying company's HSE Policies and Management System Requirements
• Reporting all Accidents/Incidents and Unsafe Acts/Conditions in a timely manner
• Ensuring contractors meet all site safety requirements.

1) Construct quality projects on time, within budget, and safely.
2) Utilize lessons learned from one project to another.
3) Develop, enhance, and maintain a teamwork concept with project team members.
4) The Construction Manager provides support to fulfill expectations of the Project. The responsibilities of the Project include:
• Front End Planning and Strategy Development
• Bid Package Development
• Bid Review, Analysis and Award
• Project Progress and Schedule Validation
• Overall Integration of Project Controls
• Implementation and Enforcement of the Safety Program
• Emergency Response
• Contractor Coordination
• Resource Loading / Leveling
• Material Coordination and Site Logistics
• Quality Assurance
• System Turnover for Mechanical Completion
• Support during Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Efforts
• Project Turnover Documentation

• Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience within the Petrochem industry.
• Bachelor Degree in related field is preferred.
• Experience with Sulfur Reduction, ULSD, ULSG etc. preferred

Per Diem and Truck allowance.
