We currently have a full-time opening for a Credit Specialist.  If you are looking for a fast paced environment where you can make a difference every day, then this is the opportunity for you!  This position is responsible for safeguarding accounts receivable by reviewing daily orders, the collection of past due balances and reconciliation of disputed amounts. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers by consistent, courteous and timely communication regarding account status.


Your day will be very busy… you will:

  • Manage credit hold accounts by reviewing held orders and analyzing customer aging's, credit limits, customer credit history and/or third party credit reports.
  • Reconcile account balances to resolve disputes and maintain integrity of accounts receivable.
  • Generate timely standard reports such as DSO, and Month End Financial Package information.
  • Ability to establish appropriate credit limits for new accounts based on customer’s credit worthiness and projected annual sales.

What your background will be:

  • You will have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in experience in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • A pro-active, problem-solving individual who is multi-tasked, managing a varied workload with constantly changing priorities.
  • Detail oriented, accurate, well organized and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Five + years of accounts receivable to include credit and collections.
  • Knowledgeable of standard accounts receivable reports, such as DSO, Accounts Receivable Roll Forwards and Bad Debt Analysis.
  • Credit program coursework through NACM or a local chapter is preferred.
  • Must have strong computerized accounting skills, intermediate spreadsheet and business writing skills are required.
