Summary of Position:
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for:
- Providing leadership and direction to back of house employees including Assistant Kitchen Managers.
- Overseeing all kitchen functions including food inventory levels, food purchasing and preparation, maintenance of quality standards, and sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Making employment decisions, and training or overseeing the training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control, and sanitation and cleanliness.
