a.i. solutions is seeking a driven individual with quality and mission assurance experience who is resilient in nature when working towards completion of their tasks. This role will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Quality, Safety and Mission Assurance (QS) Directorate with support to MDA BMDS Flight and Ground Testing activities. This individual will need to understand the importance of providing timely support to all tasks and will be a motivated in taking initiative to identify and solve problems.  The successful candidate will act as an integral part of the team to ensure the goal of delivering quality products and services that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Observe and support MDA flight and/or ground tests to ensure that all configuration changes are documented, and all notifications of such changes are appropriately channeled per Quality and MDA standards
  • Support the Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) and Mission Readiness Working Group (MRWG) and review quality requirements, address problems and issues, and/or assess failure corrective actions
  • Monitor the BMDS Discrepancy Report (BDR) database for closure of discrepancies, track BDR status, corrective actions, report issues, and verify closure
  • Support the development of Certification Data Package (CDPs) for test events
  • Coordinate Approved Test Configuration (ATC) Certification Package for approval IAW agency guidelines
  • Verify configuration for each test event, as defined by Approved Test Configuration (ATC) from the Test Configuration Working Group (TCWG)
  • Generate Test Event Certification (TEC) checklist, coordinate, secure concurrence and collect, review, verify, and archive all documents identified on the TEC checklist
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills to foster efficient workflow across multiple parties including: government customers, technical staff, and other contractors
  • Develop and brief charts on configuration issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation with the assistance of technical experts
  • Coordinate organizational deliverables
  • Coordinate, analyze and maintain data coming from various sources including personnel, existing data management systems, and hard copy deliveries
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
  • Travel on occasion, up to 15% of time to support various test events, in some cases for extended periods of time (up to 30 days)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or 10+ years of releveant experience
  • Obtain an active DoD secret security clearance prior to start
