a.i. solutions is seeking a driven Electirical Systems Engineer to join our Launch Services Division at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), on our Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Integration Support Contract (ISC) team. The candidate will provide engineering support to our customer, including integration solutions, configuration management, drawing changes, life cycle assessment, project engineering, test plans, laboratory support, problem resolution, engineering support, and data system support for the Ground Electrical IPT.   The perfect candidate possesses the experience and education described here and is a self-starter, requires minimal direction to complete tasks and is able to both lead and participate in team collaboration.  The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to embrace the a.i. solutions mission and work to continually exceed the expectations of our customers.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform life cycle assessments, engineering services, and sustaining engineering support for ICBM LCC
  • Assess accuracy, reliability, maintainability and availability of specific ICBM LCC components
  • Develop processes and procedures required to test, monitor, analyze, evaluate, and report capabilities of Ground Electrical related components
  • Perform Ground Electrical subsystem integration activities including assessing and managing requirements changes; addressing and documenting internal and external interfaces; designing, testing and integrating, and validating hardware, software, and documentation changes; accomplishing all associated verification and validation activities, as directed by the prime customer; and supporting integration working group meetings

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace or Physics 
  • 7+ years' relevant experience 
  • Active security clearance at Secret level or higher

Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree and 5+ years relevant experience
  • Experience with Minuteman III systems
  • Software and firmware coding experience
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team
  • Demonstrated leadership accomplishments professionally and personally
  • Proactivity in identifying and addressing challenges to include innovations that result in positive organizational impact
