a.i. solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer who will join our team supporting the U.S. Air Force North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support team. A successful candidate will possess knowledge of systems and software engineering fundamentals as well as know how to apply these fundamentals to systems and subsystems design. They will be experienced in performing system engineering, analytical, and problem-solving activities using structured problem-solving techniques. In addition, the candidate will act as an integral part of the team to ensure the goal of delivering quality products and services that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Author, manage and maintain CDRL artifacts to include interface documents, design documents, DoDAF architecture artifacts and technical manuals
  • Perform all aspects of requirements management to include requirements elicitation, decomposition, tracing and verification for complex, large scale computer environments
  • Apply systems and software engineering fundamentals to systems and subsystems design
  • Utilize automation and virtualization technologies for computer storage and networking systems
  • Conduct briefings and participate in technical meetings with internal and external users

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
  • 4+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
  • Experience in authoring technical documentation
  • Experience in all phases of requirements hardware and software management
  • Currently possess an active DoD secret security clearance
