a.i. solutions is looking for a highly-motivated individual to support the Finance team located at corporate headquarters. The Financial Analyst is responsible for a broad range of complex responsibilities to ensure the company’s financial and contractual requirements are consistently met. This role requires the ability to handle multiple projects, express ideas orally and in writing to stakeholders, maintain working relationships and be detailed oriented while under pressure. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to embrace the a.i. solutions mission of always meeting customer requirements and usually exceeding their expectations.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare pricing submissions for government and commercial proposals
  • Develop financial analysis to evaluate operational performance
  • Observe and evaluate financial trend variances
  • Assist with budget development
  • Build ad-hoc financial models and forecasts
  • Administer a portfolio of contracts which includes the following:
    • Basic contract administration
    • Review contract documents to ensure consistency with proposals, accounting system, and company standard practices
    • Work with Project Managers to establish project charge structure in the accounting system
    • Enter contract value, funding, and period of performance in the accounting system
    • Process monthly invoices
  • Maintain multiple schedules and associated deliverables
  • Work across multiple business systems such as Deltek Time & Expense, Costpoint, Cognos, and Ultipro

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related discipline
  • 3+ years relevant work experience
  • U.S. citizenship
